A New Canaan Sport - Lab Herding

For the past couple of weeks we have been dog sitting our friends Labs. A great opportunity to compare the instincts and traits of such divergent breeds.  The Labs, the ultimate man-made breed versus the Canaans, the ultimate nature evolved breed.  They all have super personalities and get along well.  When it came to ball playing the traits really came to the forefront.  While the Labs would forever retrieve the ball, the Canaans would continuously retrieve, or herd, the Labs.  To each his own.
